9-04-2024 Board Work Session Construction Update from Director of Buildings and Grounds

• finishing gym, audio visual and access controls to turn over the gymnasium next week
• art and STEM classroom finished this week, furniture install Monday
• library and 2nd floor to be finished week of Sept 13
• 1st floor, band and music areas painting and casework done
• Area A work to finish final classrooms
• Exterior:  all but one (1) bioswale completed and sodded, landscape in and completed today; final grading on north side and playground wrapped up this week; CCA grounds crew to begin seeding; playground complete minus the sun shade

8-23-2024 East Ridge Elementary Newsletter: 

8-21-2024 Construction Update: Classrooms are beginning to come together as well as our common learning areas. We are excited for Back to School Night and for our students to meet their teachers. They have also made continued progress on the playground which we know our students will enjoy!

8-20-2024 Construction Update: We had another productive day at East Ridge getting our teachers' classrooms set up. Additionally, lunchroom tables have come together and our commons area is looking very beautiful. Technology has been working hard to get the teachers ready for day 1 and all multimedia devices are in place and ready to go in the classrooms.

8-19-2024 Construction Update:    We had a productive first day back for teachers. Teachers were able to get into their classrooms and start unpacking their supplies. The entire school will not be 100% complete, but all classroom teachers will have classroom space and will be ready to begin learning for all of our students.

Back to School Night is August 22: 4-6PM 

Back to School Night at East Ridge will be from 4-6 pm this Thursday, August 22nd. We will be hosting an "arena style" open house in the cafeteria where our teachers will be gathered for you to meet. The address for ERE is 2950 Crossing Ridge Dr., Coralville, IA 52241. Ice Cream will be served! Please wait to send school supplies until Monday when the students can bring their filled backpacks to their teachers and classrooms.
